that day in august when my husband and i tied the knot

what an honor it was to share such beautiful day with our many family + friends, but what made it much more special is knowing that I was getting ready to marry my best friend of 3 years. we’ve come so far to get where we are now and we have more to go! we are so thankful for our Lord and Savior Jesus! it has been one rough yet amazing year. I wouldn’t go back and change anything! It was all for his glory! Lord we love you so much! our next wedding will be July of 2014 in NYC! Its our Native Law + Customs (Traditional Nigerian Wedding)

Thank You Jena Lester Photography for the amazing photos that we will forever cherish!

happy six-month- anniversary to my loving, crazy, sweet husband! whew! these past six months have been a journey to remember…we have had our GREAT days and we have had our hard days, we have had easy days and we have had bad days, but honestly i wouldn’t want to experience this love with anyone else. honestly i couldn’t be happier! we thank Jesus for one another! papa I am so happy to where the next six months will take us! God has so much more in store for us! whew, I’m ready papa.

this song is the song i had my lovely bridesmaids walk down to, but this song is truly how i feel about papa and i journey.

a look back at the 19th day of august 2011

a beautiful day, with many beautiful people, and with beautiful colors! what more could we have asked for? i love to reflect on this day, just remembering how happy we were (and still are) and how nothing or no one could get us angry this day! we had tunnel vision towards everything! it’s so easy to become so wrapped up in your day to day activities that you forget why each other are here and what purpose you serve! so it’s great to look back on that beautiful day in august and remember why we did it all. Jesus!

by the way it has officially been 2 whole months for us;)
